The FOR DMD study was an international, double blind, controlled study which has been established to assess the relative effectiveness and adverse event profiles of the 3 most frequently prescribed corticosteroid regimes in DMD. The massive data set, generated by the study, are used to gain a more comprehensive understanding about the genotype-phenotype correlation, treatment response, and side effect profile in DMD since early disease stages to inform treatment decisions and trial design from now on.
